The writing is outstanding, and I'm reading this book with no pauses. Ulysses, his son and daughter, Derrida, football, Kierkegaard, writing, death, and films--all are the leading actors of this strange memoir. When he writes about fatherhood, you can almost see his son's footprints on the pages in an effort to touch what the son calls "my moon." Beautifully written, clever, witty, and sensitive.
