(More customer reviews)This is a GREAT book! I love personal letters anyway... people are so much more open... especially when it is an artist in love and kept from his desired, like Ted is. Ted talks so much about books he's reading, plays and art exhibits he's atteding and what makes his favorites great. It's a real education as he shares his love for Sandy and love for the arts and for the struggling poet's life. I am only 1/3 the way through, but then I want to savour every one of these letters. It makes me want to know what happened to them. P.S. It's incredible that Sandy was so manipulated and locked up by psychiatrists and her powerful parents. That was a repressive era about to explode and Ted is at the heart of it all... ever true, ever enlightened, and so in love with love itself.
