The contents, quotes from Lincoln and quotes about him from those who knew him, are a priceless reminder of what our country once was, and can be again. It shows that the presidency was once occupied by a man who put all thought of himself behind the good of his country. As a self-taught scholar, Lincoln's writings are an excellent example of erudition. If you want to be uplifted, read this book; you won't be sorry!
